Frequently asked questions
What does this Nadi/KP/Horary software do?
It runs two engines: a Nadi/KP analysis of your birth chart with nirayana cusps, star and sub lords and significators, and a Horary Prashna module where a number from 1 to 249 sets the ascendant for a single question.
What is a sub-lord and why does KP rely on it?
Each of the 249 sub-divisions of the zodiac has a planetary sub-lord. In KP the sub-lord decides whether the promise shown by the sign and star lord will actually be delivered, which is why KP predictions are far more specific than sign-based ones.
How does the Horary Prashna (1-249) work?
You think of one clear question, pick a number between 1 and 249, and the software builds a chart for that moment using the number as the ascendant. The cusps, significators and dasha are then read for a yes/no and timing answer.
Which ayanamsa is used?
The Nadi ayanamsa is used for Nadi and horary work here, with sidereal cusp calculations. This is deliberate - Nadi practitioners use a slightly different ayanamsa value than standard Lahiri KP.
Do I need birth details for the horary side?
No. Horary needs only your question, the number you choose and the current time and place. Birth details are required only for the Nadi birth-chart analysis tab.
How many questions can I ask at once?
One. Horary answers a single, specific, sincerely-held question. Asking several questions on one number, or re-asking the same question repeatedly, blurs the reading.
