Astrometry Refer & Earn Affiliate Program: How Referral Links, Discounts and Commission Work

Astrometry's Refer & Earn Affiliate Program lets any registered member share a personal link to Astrometry software. The person you refer gets 10% off eligible Desktop Edition and Online Software purchases, and you earn a 10% commission on each successful purchase made through your link. This guide covers how to get your link, how the discount and commission are calculated, how long a referral lasts and how to track your results in the Affiliate Dashboard.
Who can join
Anyone with an Astrometry account can join. You don't fill in a separate application. Your affiliate link is created the first time you open the Affiliate Dashboard while signed in. If you don't have an account yet, create one or sign in, then open the dashboard from your profile or from the Refer & Earn - Affiliate Program link at the bottom of every page.
The program suits anyone who already talks to people about astrology software: practising astrologers, teachers and students, study-group organisers, and users who recommend a tool they use themselves.
How it works in four steps
- Sign in and open your dashboard. Go to the Affiliate Dashboard. Your personal link is shown at the top.
- Copy your link. Press Copy link and share it by message, email, social media or on your own website. The link opens Astrometry's Pricing page.
- Your friend buys software. When they open your link, the referral is saved in their browser. If they buy an eligible Desktop Edition or Online Software within 30 days, checkout shows the affiliate discount before they pay.
- You earn commission. After the payment succeeds, the purchase appears in your dashboard under Referral purchases, and 10% of the amount paid is counted as your commission.
What your friend gets: 10% off
A referred buyer gets 10% off the listed price of eligible Desktop Edition and Online Software purchases. At checkout, a line shows the affiliate discount, the amount saved and the final payable amount, so they can check the price before paying.
For example, the Astrometry Desktop Professional (All-in-One) suite of 36 Desktop Editions is listed at ₹32,999. With a 10% affiliate discount, the buyer saves ₹3,299.90 and pays ₹29,699.10.
Only one discount per order
Astrometry sometimes runs coupon codes, which are listed in the Active coupons card on the Pricing page and the Softwares page. Coupons and affiliate discounts are not combined. Only one discount can be applied per order (Affiliate discount or Coupon code). When a buyer has both, checkout compares the two and applies whichever saves more, so the buyer always gets the better of the two.
What you earn: 10% commission
Your commission is 10% of what the buyer actually paid, after the discount. In the All-in-One example above, the buyer pays ₹29,699.10, so your commission is ₹2,969.91.

The same calculation applies to every eligible purchase, from a single Online Software report to an annual plan or a lifetime Desktop Edition. Only successful, paid purchases count. If a referred order is later refunded or revoked, its commission is removed from your balance.
How long a referral lasts
A referral stays valid for 30 days from the click. It is saved in the browser and on the device where your friend opened the link. If they buy within 30 days from the same browser, the purchase is linked to you. If they open Astrometry later from a different phone, computer or browser, the referral won't be there unless they open your link again on that device.
When you share the link, a short tip helps: "Open this link on the device you'll use to buy."
Your own purchases
Your link is for referring other people. Opening your own link doesn't give you a discount on your own purchases, and those purchases are not counted as referrals.
Tracking referrals in your dashboard
The Affiliate Dashboard shows:
- Your affiliate link, with a one-click copy button.
- How your referral works, a short reminder of the discount, commission and 30-day validity.
- Successful purchases, the number of paid referral orders.
- Referred sales, the total amount paid by the people you referred.
- Referral purchases, a list of each order with its date, software or plan, amount paid and status.
Buyers' names and contact details are not shown. You see the purchase, not the person.
How commission is paid
The Astrometry team reviews referral sales and commission balances, then pays commission manually and records each payout. Commission isn't transferred automatically at the moment of sale. For questions about your balance or a payout, contact Astrometry support.

The referral has expired, so the purchase isn't linked to you. They can open your link again to start a new 30-day period.
