DMIT Desktop Software Lifetime Licence Terms

Version 2026-10-02

1. Licence purchase and ownership

The ₹23,999 payment purchases one non-exclusive, non-transferable lifetime licence for Astrometry DMIT Software. It belongs to the named person whose verified account completes the purchase and may not be shared, resold or assigned.

2. Permitted use

The licence holder may prepare profiles for personal work and their own clients. The software, fingerprint classifier, formulas, rulebooks, source files and bundled content may not be copied, extracted, republished, reverse engineered, sublicensed or used to create a competing product.

3. One active installation

One browser installation may be active at a time. Activation binds a signed licence to a private key in that browser profile. A lost or replaced installation may be released immediately and replaced; the released installation is disabled when it next connects.

4. Offline operation

After installation, activation and one complete online load, local fingerprint processing and PDF generation work without internet. Internet is required for purchase, first activation, release, replacement and updates. A released device that stays fully offline may continue until reconnecting, but must no longer be used.

5. Lifetime access and updates

“Lifetime” means the licence does not expire while Astrometry provides a compatible DMIT browser edition. Future compatible DMIT browser-edition updates are included without another licence fee.

6. Local data and recovery

Fingerprint images and working data remain in the selected browser session or profile and are not uploaded by the DMIT tool. Clearing site data, private browsing, browser resets or losing the device can remove local access and reports. You are responsible for exported PDF backups.

7. Refunds

A refund may be requested within seven calendar days only when no installation has been activated. After activation the purchase is non-refundable except where law requires otherwise. Approved refunds revoke further access.

8. Professional responsibility

DMIT follows Astrometry’s supplied deterministic rulebook for interpretive and educational use. It is not a medical, neurological, psychological or educational diagnosis. You remain responsible for image quality, participant consent, inputs and how reports are communicated.

9. Suspension

Astrometry may suspend or revoke access after payment reversal, fraud, account compromise, prohibited sharing, tampering, redistribution or material breach. Revocation also ends offline-use permission.

10. General terms

These product terms supplement the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Contact astrometry.in@gmail.com for licence questions.
