Navtara Transit Predictions: The 9 Tara Method Made Simple

Navtara is a nakshatra timing method. It counts nine groups of stars from your birth star. Each group carries a clear meaning. It is one of the quickest ways to judge a day.

The nine taras

• Janma: the birth star. Mixed. Rest and keep plans private.
• Sampat: gain. Good for money and purchases.
• Vipat: loss. Avoid risk and travel.
• Kshema: comfort. Good for steady work.
• Pratyari: obstacles. Postpone new starts.
• Sadhaka: achievement. Best for launches and applications.
• Vadha: harm. Keep the day light.
• Mitra: friend. Good for talks and support.
• Parama Mitra: close friend. Strong for agreements.

How the count works

Start at your Janma Nakshatra. Count forward through the 27 stars. The cycle repeats three times. So each tara holds three stars in total. The Moon moves through one star each day, so the tara changes daily.

Using it for real plans

Pick Sadhaka, Mitra or Parama Mitra days for anything new. Use Sampat days for money moves. Keep Vipat, Pratyari and Vadha days for routine work. Combine the tara with a clean muhurat for the best result.
