Kaal Sarp Dosha: What It Is and What It Is Not

Kaal Sarp Dosha forms when all seven planets sit between Rahu and Ketu. The nodes are the head and tail of the serpent. When every planet falls on one side, the chart is said to carry this yoga.

The Twelve Types

The type depends on where Rahu sits. Anant Kaal Sarp has Rahu in the 1st house. Kulik has Rahu in the 2nd. There are twelve in total, one for each house. Each type stresses a different life area. Health, wealth, marriage or career may feel blocked in cycles.

Keep Perspective

Many successful people have this yoga. It creates intensity, not doom. Life may swing between extremes. Progress often comes after the mid-thirties. The key is steady effort and patience.

Grounded Remedies

Visit a Shiva temple on Mondays if it suits your faith. Chant the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra. Donate on Nag Panchami. Avoid fear-based spending on expensive rituals. A calm mind is the strongest remedy.

Check your chart with our Kaal Sarp tool. It shows whether the yoga is full or partial. It also explains the type in plain words. For timing the tough phases, see your Vimshottari dasha.
